Kim Morgan is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, working in non-profit organizational management for 30+ years. She has worked to improve the quality of life for those impacted by poverty, mental health and substance abuse issues, and homelessness.

Currently Kim provides consultative services to nonprofits through LifeVest Strategies. She served as the Chief Executive Officer for United Way of Western Connecticut and its subsidiary organization, Prosperity Digital Marketplace until 2023. She is a former Associate with Columbia University’s Center for Technology Management, and alumni of Harvard Business School Executive Education Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management.

Kim transformed the business model for United Way to focus on delivering services to households that live paycheck to paycheck (ALICE®Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). She launched multiple new and innovative programs in the areas of childcare, access to healthy food, and education and raised millions of dollars to support these initiatives. A driving strategy was using technology and delivering services in a way that allowed people to maintain their dignity and choice. In 2021, the subsidiary she runs launched www.prosperikey.org, a digital marketplace for households living paycheck to paycheck.

Kim has served on multiple boards, and currently serves on the board of Danbury and New Milford Hospital, and the board of Western CT Coalition, a prevention and behavioral health organization. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an MS degree in Management Communications. She and her husband served as licensed foster and adoptive parents for 15 years and are strong advocates for children’s mental health. She resides in New Fairfield, CT with her husband, three daughters, her grandson, and a spoiled rabbit named Quinn.
