About Us

We are business and nonprofit professionals dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector by assisting organizations to increase their productivity and impact. Interim Executive Solutions, a management consulting firm offering interim leadership (executive, operations, finance and development) and transition consulting services, is led by five partners, each with extensive experience as a leader in both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds: Sarah Bingman-Schott, Christian Dame, David Harris, Barbra Kavanaugh and Frank Reece. While located in the Greater Boston Massachusetts area, we serve nonprofit clients throughout the Northeast U.S. and beyond. Together with our network of associates we bring broad experience as well as specialized expertise that can be accessed as needed by nonprofit organizations, regardless of the mission.

Our nonprofit services include:

  • Placing and supporting nonprofit Interim Executive Directors and other senior leaders who can effect changes that strengthen nonprofit organizations and prepare them to attract highly qualified permanent leaders
  • Providing targeted transition consulting to ensure the organization has a sustainable business model and is ready for the changes that leadership transitions inevitably bring

While we are not a 501c3, Interim Executive Solutions has developed a network of highly experienced senior executives who are dedicated to assisting nonprofit organizations with transitional leadership and specialized nonprofit consulting challenges. Nonprofit clients can engage these senior level professionals on an individual basis or benefit from a team of complementary experts working in collaboration to resolve interconnected issues.
