James Kostecki

James is a transformative, solutions-focused executive with a passion for helping mission-driven organizations amplify their impact through operational transformation. He excels at diagnosing challenges, implementing practical solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve measurable results. A natural collaborator, James builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and shared success. His ability to adapt to changing environments and anticipate future needs has been instrumental in positioning organizations for long-term success. His expertise spans strategic planning, program implementation, project management, financial operations, and leadership development. He holds a master’s in public administration from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.

James spent several years as a public sector consultant, where he worked closely with public sector agencies and non-profit service providers to design and implement large-scale, statewide initiatives. His efforts were focused on optimizing resources and extending services to underserved populations, driving meaningful impact at both local and state levels. During this time, he worked with non-profits across the country, including Massachusetts, Maine, New York, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania—performing program evaluations, needs assessments, and financial analyses.

Most recently, James served as Vice President of Operations at a national behavioral health provider. In this role, he spearheaded a nationwide expansion, introducing innovative programming and new service offerings that extended the organization’s reach to serve thousands more individuals.

Passionate about making an impact, James founded Rising Tide Operations Consulting LLC to provide strategic consulting services to human service organizations. His mission is to empower organizations with operational ecosystems that elevate service delivery, enhance programming, and create lasting, positive change for the individuals and communities they serve.
