Barry L. Coletti is an experienced career executive, who now offers Interim Executive services to organizations that are in leadership transition. Barry adds value to organizations via stabilizing the operations and maintaining their strategic mission. Barry is successful in handing off the role to the new executive, as demonstrated by creating highly effective multi-disciplinary, cross functional teams, grounded in transparent communication and trust.
Barry, in his first career, was a licensed and board-certified clinical counselor. He displays a passion for helping people and now helps organizations learn to improve and help themselves move forward. Barry has a depth and breadth of experience over a 30-year career as an executive, (in positions of COO, CEO, Advisor) with exposure to over 25 different organizations, at both the departmental and corporate levels.
Barry is known for revenue cycle improvements, transforming siloed operations into high functioning multi-disciplinary teams and culture transformations.
Barry holds an MBA in Operations/Systems management and an M.A. in Human Services. Accented with Lean and Six Sigma Green Belts, he is Certified in Healthcare Finance, and in Business Analytics/Intelligence.
While Barry holds sound academic credentials, his success as an executive is in his systemic training and ability to understand organizations; their cultures and his belief in listening to and developing the people who work there.
Three of Barry’s specific accomplishments are below.
o Cultivated a multi-disciplinary team for a non-profit mental health organization resulting in revenue cycle improvement/cash flow of $ 1.2 million in A/R to cash within a 12- month period.
o Transformed a culture of blaming people, to focusing on broken processes and how to resolve them, leading to 10 Directors becoming Lean Sigma Green Belts and formation of a multi-disciplinary management team, from historically siloed operations.
o Successfully led a multi-sub-specialty cardiovascular team in a performance improvement project, resulting in a run rate of $ 8.6 million dollars, 6-month post project control plan execution. $ 7.4 million in throughput improvements and $ 1.2 million in supply chain improvements.
Barry received his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University, his Master of Art’s in Counseling from John Carrol University, and his Lean & Six Sigma Green Belts from Villanova University. Barry completed a fellowship at the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy/Case Western Reserve University. He is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified in Addictions. He no longer actively practices clinically, as of 1993, as his career transitioned into Business Administration.

Barry is married to his high school sweet – heart and they live in Westlake, Ohio. They have a son, who is an Aerospace Engineer, living in Seattle, Washington.
