Teresa Avery, MBA, is the founder of Avery Impact: Business for Good, a consulting practice that helps mission-driven organizations do more of what they do best—make the world a better place.
Known for her energy, optimism, and practical approach to leadership, Teresa brings more than 25 years of cross-sector experience to every client partnership. She started her career in marketing and public relations, working on projects for household names like W.F. Young and Pfizer, Inc. After earning her MBA, she took on executive leadership at Autism Delaware, where she helped the organization more than double in size—growing from 36 to over 100 team members in just eight years, all while keeping the mission front and center.
Teresa later returned to her alma mater, Penn State University, where she served as Managing Director of the Executive MBA program, collaborating with business leaders and faculty to shape the next generation of executive talent.
In 2024, Teresa launched Avery Impact: Business for Good to combine everything she loves—strategy, collaboration, and helping mission-focused organizations turn big ideas into action. Whether she’s leading a strategic planning session or helping a leadership team think through their next bold move, Teresa brings curiosity, clarity, and just the right amount of humor to keep things moving forward.
She lives in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania with her husband Geoff and their two very good rescue dogs, Daisy and Rosco.
