Susan Madon, MBA, CFRE, is a seasoned nonprofit leader, educator, and consultant with over 25 years of experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational management. She is the CEO and founder of Minerva Nonprofit Management Consulting, where she partners with small and mid-sized nonprofits to build sustainable revenue, strengthen boards, and align strategy with mission.
A Columbia Business School–trained executive, Susan serves as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and has taught and presented widely for organizations including AFP-NYC, Columbia University, and Nonprofit New York. She holds the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential and is an active member of the AFP-NYC board, contributing her expertise to board governance and sector leadership initiatives.
Susan is also the author of the fundraising-themed suspense novel The Disappearing Donor, reflecting her commitment to making philanthropic best practices engaging, accessible, and actionable for practitioners at every level. She makes her home in Manhattan.
