Matt Glazer

Matt Glazer has built a career at the intersection of strategic planning, executive leadership, and organizational change. He is a two-time nonprofit Executive Director—founding Progress Texas, the state’s largest multi-issue advocacy organization, and leading the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce through its transformation into one of Central Texas’s most impactful chambers.

A trusted turnaround and interim leader, Matt has guided organizations including Project Transitions, Urban Roots, Good Work Austin, the Texas Public Employees Association, and EarthShare Texas through moments of transition, focusing on sustainability, clarity, and impact.

As CEO of Blue Sky Partners, he leads strategic planning for nonprofits, businesses, and civic organizations, blending best practices with human-centered design to help leaders align priorities and chart practical, bold paths forward. Recognized as a thought leader on organizational growth and capacity building, he is often called to facilitate complex planning sessions and support leadership teams through change.

Matt also serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Trinity University, where he teaches human-centered design and strategy, business strategy, and introduction to entrepreneurship.
