I am a thoughtful executive and advocate who has successfully founded and led mission-driven organizations in order to create lasting, meaningful change. In these roles, I have worked with the investment and business communities, a range of domestic and international advocacy organizations, and the legislative and executive branches of government.
I have a broad base of issue expertise from a 17- year career leading a sustainable investment membership organization and a decade plus advancing domestic social policy, international development and human rights.
I bring significant experience in organizational development, management and governance from my paid work as well as from serving on multiple boards of directors. I have built close relationships with the media, policymakers, and other mission-focused institutions in order to advance organizational goals.
I thrive in dynamic, multifaceted leadership roles that offer the opportunity to shape strategy and policy. I am adept at fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders and in influencing internal and external audiences. I am a compelling and experienced public speaker and advocate, a strong writer and editor and an accomplished fundraiser.
As an executive leader, I also find satisfaction in building strong, cohesive teams, creating pathways for staff development and ensuring that internal systems are well functioning and able to support the ambition of the institution.
