Erin McMahon, Ed.D., is a partner at McMahon Partners, a family-led executive search and advisory firm founded in 2009, where she brings a unique blend of experience across education, business, and the nonprofit sector to help mission-driven organizations grow with clarity and impact. Erin has served as a Superintendent of Schools and Senior Advisor to the Massachusetts Commissioner of Education in Massachusetts, Chief Academic Officer for the KIPP Foundation, and head of academics and innovation for Denver Public Schools, where she led the district to its highest-ever early literacy gains in a single year. Dr. McMahon began her career with Teach For America before joining Ernst & Young LLP as a management consultant. She is a licensed professional coach and Pahara Aspen fellow, and holds degrees from Yale (BA), Cornell (MBA), Pace (MS. Ed.) and Boston College (Ed.D.)
