Don Fann spent his early career in the field of psychology and social services and progressed his career into health and human services executive management in the early 1990s with a focus on nonprofit organizations. Don’s executive management experience includes successes in business development and growth, organizational restructuring, and organizational crisis remediation and healing.

Following an in-depth involvement in structuring and managing programming to address victims of the September 11th disasters, Don launched a consulting practice in New York City, the centerpiece of which was interim executive management and organizational recovery consulting, serving as a chief executive for numerous high-profile nonprofit organizations in the New York region and as a sustainability consultant for the American Red Cross.

After moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 2016, Don was placed as an interim executive turn-around resource at The Way Free Medical Clinic in 2017. After successfully executing an organizational recovery, he became the clinic’s Executive Director & President, propelling the free medical clinic into unprecedented growth and successfully funding and building a new free medical and dental facility in Orange Park. He has been received numerous awards for his work with this organization, all stemming from his initial placement as an interim executive resource.

Don’s consulting work also includes strategic development and planning, nonprofit governance work, and organizational training utilizing a proprietary platform called “Self, Team, System”, which is based on behavioral sciences and the martial art, Aikido, which Don practiced and taught for over 30 years.
