He has also served on the board of the Kwong Kow Chinese School, strengthening financial oversight and helping transition education programs to online delivery in just 2 weeks at the start of COVID—reflecting his commitment to diversity, education, and inclusive governance.
Art’s career spans leadership roles across 6 U.S. states and 13 countries, and organizations ranging from the 7 startups he founded or co-founded to global organizations with 33,000 people. He has raised $195 million in funding, guided 43 strategic transactions totaling $1.58 billion in organizational value, and led the revitalization of a dozen underperforming organizations—consistently stabilizing operations and building high-performance teams without resorting to layoffs.
A champion of sustainability and social responsibility, Art acquired and transformed Nor’east Cleaners in Gloucester, MA into a certified Benefit Corporation with fully green operations, embedding purpose into the corporate charter and accounting, paying all workers a living wage even during periods with extended losses, and delivering a 48% return on investment at sale. He brings more than 30 years of property and facilities management experience and advises organizations on AI, innovation, and digital modernization.
Art holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, and a Master Corporate Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors.
