Sharon Pollack

Sharon Pollack has extensive senior management CFO/CFAO experience in non-profit organizations, leading financial, human resources, legal, technology, and facilities functions. She advises board finance and investment committees and has worked with local, national, and international organizations.

She is devoted to helping organizations develop their internal capacity through active planning and management systems, enabling staff and board members to develop a shared sense of fundamental economic drivers. She helps finance and development teams to successfully align their reporting and recordkeeping systems and has managed complex government and foundation funding agreements.

Affable, calm, and direct, she has led finance and operationally focused staff teams, building consensus around identified common objectives. A skilled manager, Sharon motivates and supports staff, increasing peoples’ skills and leadership capacities.
She most recently filled interim Chief Financial Officer roles at Democracy House, the ARC of Palm Beach County, and the Jewish Theological Seminary. Previously, she had staff roles in organizations focusing on impact investing, human rights, poverty alleviation, international exchange, and community service, including Trickle UP, and the International YMCA. She began her career as an AmeriCorps/VISTA volunteer, providing technical assistance to community-based arts organizations in New York City.

Sharon attended NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. She has also completed Third Sector’s Interim Executive Academy. She is an active member of her local community in Montclair, New Jersey.
