Ms. Linda Taliaferro, MHCM, CAE, is a distinguished certified association executive based in Washington, DC, with over 15 years of executive leadership experience in both large and small non-profit associations. Known for her visionary and strategic approach, Ms. Taliaferro has an impressive track record of accomplishments across various organizations. In early 2021, Ms. Taliaferro founded Iron Cutter Consulting, a firm dedicated to providing interim CEO/Executive Director services to associations undergoing chief staff officer transitions. Her expertise has been sought after by notable clients such as the American String Teachers Association and the National Communication Association. Her tenure as Executive Director for the Emergency Department Practice Management Association in McLean, VA, saw her spearheading efforts to improve emergency department practices nationwide. Additionally, as Senior Director of Health Policy at the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Alexandria, VA, and Senior Staff Associate at the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, DC, she contributed to shaping health policy and advancing medical education.
