Electa Sevier

Electa Sevier has spent her career working in the non-profit sector making organizations stronger, more strategic, and successful in achieving their missions. She most recently served as the Interim CEO for The Price Center, an organization empowering adults with intellectual disabilities to thrive.  In addition to stabilizing the organization and supporting their mission, she facilitated a strategic visioning process that informed their successful search for a new leader.

For more than 20 years, Electa has consulted with non-profit organizations to develop strategic plans, build innovative and impactful programming, implement equitable management practices and decision making, and make real change in the world. Her work included organizations working in healthcare, social services, the environment, and the arts. She is also an experienced organizational leader, serving for over six years as the Executive Director of the climate organization, Mothers Out Front, building a national network of mothers organizing to fight climate change.

It is the combination of consulting expertise – expansive and varied experience, ability to assess and learn an organization quickly, fresh and unbiased perspective – and CEO experience – operational and strategic acumen, HR and financial expertise, Board and senior staff development – that makes her a transformative interim leader.

Electa has a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. She lives in Boston where she is active in the community.
