Chris Lynch

Chris Lynch is a distinguished non-profit executive with extensive experience in organizational leadership and strategic management. With over two decades in the non-profit sector, Chris has demonstrated a keen ability to guide organizations through periods of growth, transition, and transformation. His expertise spans executive leadership, board development, fundraising, and strategic planning, making him an invaluable asset in interim executive roles.

As the Executive Director of The Play Ball Foundation from 2019 to 2024, Chris showcased his capacity to lead and scale non-profit operations. He doubled the organization’s impact, professionalized the board structure, and increased the annual budget from $400,000 to $950,000. Prior to this, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer of SquashBusters, Inc., where he partnered with the CEO and CFO on the senior leadership team to expand the organization from one site to three cities. These experiences highlight his adaptability and skill in navigating diverse non-profit environments.

Throughout his career, Chris has consistently demonstrated his ability to step into leadership roles and drive organizational success. His tenure as Director of the Boston Youth Sports Initiative saw him managing multi-million dollar grant programs and building consensus among diverse stakeholders. Currently, as a Strategic Consultant for the Change The Game Coalition, Chris continues to provide expert guidance on organizational development and strategic initiatives. With his comprehensive understanding of non-profit operations, board dynamics, and fundraising strategies, Chris is well-equipped to offer valuable leadership during transitional periods for a wide range of non-profit organizations.

Chris has a BA from Bates College, and a Masters in Education from Lesley University.
