Currently serving as an Executive Coaching and Design Consultant at Casey Family Programs, Dr. Montorio-Archer is shaping the future of child welfare leadership. He plays a pivotal role in developing the inaugural Child Welfare Leadership Development Executive Coaching model, partnering with emerging and tenured leaders—particularly those from diverse backgrounds. His coaching empowers leaders to navigate the complexities of child welfare, driving systemic change through strategic leadership development and innovative solutions.

As the Interim Executive Director of Congo Square Theatre Company, Dr. Montorio-Archer is guiding the organization through a transformative period. His focus is on strengthening internal culture, refining operational structures, and amplifying the theater’s community impact. Under his leadership, Congo Square Theatre is advancing its mission of producing transformative works rooted in the African Diaspora while broadening its reach and influence.

During his tenure as Interim Chief Executive Officer at St. Mary’s Home for Children, Dr. Montorio-Archer successfully led the organization through critical restructuring efforts, addressing governance, compliance, and operational challenges. He strengthened board recruitment processes, instituted robust financial oversight, and positioned the organization for greater accountability and long-term stability.

As President and CEO of One Hope United, Dr. Montorio-Archer spearheaded a remarkable transformation, steering the organization from financial instability to operational success. His leadership revitalized the organization’s impact, emphasizing team development, program excellence, and sustainable growth. Through strategic advocacy and initiatives, he significantly enhanced the organization’s profile and broadened its community outreach.

Earlier in his career, as Co-Founder and CEO of The Thrive Network, Dr. Montorio-Archer expanded the organization’s reach and influence, orchestrating a merger that dramatically increased service capacity. His visionary leadership laid the foundation for lasting growth, and as Chief Operating Officer, he secured major funding that propelled the organization’s expansion and enhanced service delivery.

Dr. Montorio-Archer holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, a Doctorate in Public Management and Leadership from Walden University, and a Master of Public Administration from CUNY/BARUCH College. Certified in Six Sigma, Health Care Compliance, and Ethics, he also serves on numerous boards and commissions, including the Illinois Commission on Poverty Elimination and Economic Security, where he leverages his expertise to influence policy and foster systemic change.
